Standard Theory Works

Grade 7: Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in E Minor--Opus 64.
Complete work to be studied.

Grade 8: F J Haydn--Symphony No 104 in D Major--The London.
Complete work to be studied.

These these works will remain the standard theory works.   Teachers or candidates may apply in writing, via the Office, to the Theory Director for a once off approval of a suitable Concerto or Symphony.

SOUTH AUSTRALIAN DEPARTMENT RECOGNITION

SSABSA recognises Guild Practical Music for Certificate of Education.

The recognition of The Australian Guild of Music and Speech, Practical Music, Grades 5, 6, 7, & 8 towards the completion requirements for the award of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) has been continued for 2006.
