When the Violin becomes a language better than words and gestures

When Matthew Lim, a long distance student at the Guild, was able to come to our Melbourne campus, he was able to have fun with fellow student Davis Takagi with impromptu duets of some of the more complicated pieces of violin compositions by Paginini, Bach and Beethoven. Watching them play was like seeing a conversation unfolding that only violinists would be able to have. From an observer’s and listener’s view point, it was enthralling. Days like this at the Guild are the best kind of days!
