Doctor of Music (DMus)

A master’s degree in music or a related discipline OR an undergraduate degree in Music or a related discipline that comprises a research project of at least 10,000 words or equivalent

These programs provide students with advanced study in music that complement and expand undergraduate studies; provide extension studies for the music professional, and provide pathways to higher degree study.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of prior learning is available to applicants who do not meet these requirements but can demonstrate relevant and recent academic, pedagogical, professional or industry experience.
Applicants may be invited to undertake an audition and interview, and to provide samples of work, to ascertain their suitability for entry.
International Students

Students will need to meet required audition & academic standards and have an IELTS score of band 6.0 (5.5 considered with extra assessment).
