Hello,
My name is Marlo. Piano is my passion. I have been playing for around 5 years, inspired by the likes of Nils Fram, particularly after seeing him play live, and Chilli Gonzales. I am learning Jazz piano and love to improvise. I am currently in year 10, based in regional Victoria and try to get to live music in Melbourne when I can. In addition to music, I love being outdoors and immersed in nature, which inspires much of the music that I write.
This piece is based off one of my favourite movie sound tracks Blade Runner. I am attracted to many of the qualities within this film, particularly the sound of the saxophone, and began improvising with these ideas in mind, in order to compose this piece.
I originally made a filmic version of playing this piece, however the visual component did not work during the upload.
