The song follows the events of someone being "ghosted" by a girl, and the feelings that ensue afterwards. When writing this song, it was always on my mind that I should create a groovy and upbeat vibe, incorporating instruments such as the brass ensemble in the background of the chorus. Utilising layers was my next goal in the song, trying to change the sounds from verse to chorus to verse to bridge etc. By using multiple drum sounds and guitar effects, I was able to create a sound that I felt best expressed the feelings behind the song.
