Using synth bells and soundscape sounds from garageband, I aimed to capture through a video game lens the visual dynamic of space and the stars. Through combining sparkling bells and softly aspirate and transparent textures which accompany the synth electric keyboard, I tried to encapsulate an awe for the stars, while simultaneously a suspension in air, presumably closer to space than the ground. The midi sounding keyboard is intentional, capturing nostalgic essence from some of my favourite mario games of the past. These were overtly mechanical in sound, which seems to add to the fondness of them to me.
